Use gentle materials
Power down or protect the work area, remove loose debris first, and use a clean lens-safe microfiber material. Avoid abrasive paper and harsh chemicals.
Inspect the whole image path
- Camera window or dome.
- Protective film left from installation.
- Spider webs near infrared LEDs.
- Water spots and internal condensation.
Recheck the view
After cleaning, confirm focus, alignment, and night performance. A shifted camera can create a larger problem than the original dirt.
